Insipiring.Awesome.Chiedo venia se incomincio una recensione con termini
stranieri(in effetti dovrei usare anche parole francesi vista l'origine
dell'artista)ma di una cosa sono certa:ciò che permea questo strepitoso EP
della cantante AWA LY trascende ogni idioma,ogni linguaggio.E' l'anima che
comanda qui,un cuore che freme e che fa venire a galla sentimenti
forti,brucianti e travolgenti.
AWA LY è ormai una artista matura,completa,grazie anche alle sue
molteplici esperienze in studio e i moltissimi live in giro per l'Europa:la sua
musica ha un sapore internazionale,no barriers here,nessun confine;le influenze
jazz si fanno sentire,così come un po' di sano pop e folk condito dai ritmi
trascinanti del Caribe,che fanno del disco un prodotto godibile,raffinato,per
veri intenditori di musica,quella con la
M maiuscola.
Registrato tra Berlino,Parigi e Roma, AWA LY(sì,l'EP si intitola come la
stessa artista)vede la collaborazione di Massimo Giangrande, uno dei
chitarristi più talentuosi in circolazione,
e di giovanissimi musicisti ventenni, che con il loro contributo hanno portato
freschezza e contemporaneità all'ensemble.
Sensuale e raffinato il brano di apertura dell'EP "Doum doum
doum":atmosfera calda e rétro e voce da brivido,piccolo gioiellino
musicale dal refrain indimenticabile.
Si continua con "Jungle",canzone orecchiabile e molto
pop,perfetta come sottofondo dell'estate 2014:ritornello trascinante,ritmo e
groove giusti,pazzesca!
La terza traccia dell'EP AWA LY "Start to walk" è una ballad
dalla forte atmosfera intimista,un caldo duetto con Claudio Domestico;due voci
profonde,ardenti,uniche.Il connubio tra due voci così suadenti dà vita ad un
intreccio vocale da bridivi.Chapeau!
Personalità forte e sicura nel mio pezzo preferito,per intensità e
profondità:"Great Blue Sky";la voce,il timbro,the
self-confidence:Lady Day è qui,nelle fattezze di AWA LY!Ascoltatela,ne
rimarrete estasiati!
L'ultima canzone,in francese,"A toi" in versione acustica. Un
tocco di classe,una dolce canzone d'amore,un ventaglio di emozioni e nuances
che scaturiscono dalla voce di AWA.
AWA LY racchiude 5 brani piu' tre tracks in versione acustica(Doum doum
doum,Start to walk e Great blue sky).Un Ep da sentire,godere,apprezzare.Sa
creare un' atmosfera cosy,raccolta,intima:fa volare sulle ali della
fantasia,sognando atmosfere esotiche,luoghi magici e lontani.Ho cominciato con
un termine inglese e ora finisco con un'altra parola straniera in omaggio
all'artista:MAGNIFIQUE!

AWA LY is now a mature and complete artist , thanks to her tons of experience in recording studios and, as well,thanks to the many gigs around Europe : her music has an international flavor , no barriers here , no borders ;we can hear jazz influences , along with a little pop and folk rhythms from the Caribbean.

Recorded around Europe( Berlin , Paris and Rome ) AWA LY (yes, the EP is titled as the artist herself ) sees the collaboration of Massimo Giangrande , one of the most talented guitarists around, and young European musicians, who brought freshness and coolness to the ensemble .
Sensual and refined the opening track of the EP " Doum doum doum ":AWA’s warm and nostalgic voice is thrilling , this song can be an unforgettable little musical gem.
"Jungle ", the second track,it’s a very catchy and pop song, as fresh as a midnight summer night:it has the rhythm and the right groove! Smashing!
The third track of the EP AWA LY "Start to walk " is a ballad with a strong intimate atmosphere , a warm duet with Claudio Domestico: two deep voices ,unique..The blend of the two voices is real impressive and simply leaves breathless.Chapeau !
For intensity and depth "Great Blue Sky " is my favourite track the voice, the tone, the self-confidence : Lady Day is here! Listen to it , you'll be hooked!
The last song , in French language, "A toi" is in acoustic version . A touch of class , a sweet love song, a wide range of emotions and nuances that come from the voice of AWA .

Super.Fantastique.Il faut peu de mots
pour decrire le nouveau Ep de la
chanteuse française AWA LY:c’est l’ ame qui est protagoniste ici, un cœur qui tremble, brûlant et ranversant,des
sentiments forts viennent à la surface.
AWA LY est maintenant une artiste mure, complète , grace aux nombreuses
experiences en studio et jouant dans les places les plus importantes d'Europe : sa musique a un gout international,aucun obstacle ici,pas de frontières.
Il ya des influences de jazz ,ainsi que de pop e des rythmes
folkloriques caraibes;c’est un produit
agréable,chic et raffiné,consacré aux connaisseurs
de la musique!
